Since 2007, Hands of Healing has been transforming lives by planting seeds of health, happiness, and hope—one home at a time. Dedicated to serving children and families, we focus on recruiting, training, and supporting foster families who provide safe, loving, and stable homes for children in need. Our mission is to create nurturing environments where every child feels valued, every family is empowered to thrive, and hope is restored for a brighter future.
Over the years we have been committed to strengthening family bonds, by preparing and empowering individuals with a heart for parenting to provide love, structure, and stability for foster children in need. Through fostering and residential care for at-risk youth, we are dedicated to building brighter futures for children while supporting the unique needs of families. We believe every child deserves to be loved, celebrated, and appreciated, and our programs are designed to create thriving, empowered citizens who contribute to their communities and leave a lasting legacy.
Hands of Healing has been successful in establishing programs that provide and support initiatives from the state of Texas as well as the Federal government. We believe that every child deserves to have a place where they feel safe and loved. Our organization offers shelter services and foster home placement for children while we work to reunite them with family. Our work includes intensive case management that emphasizes placement stability and safety, assessed by seasoned professionals trained to support the child-centered family unit through a trauma-informed approach that is reflective of the population we serve We know the sooner family reunification is accomplished, the sooner children can safely integrate into the community and thrive.
Our Mission
Our programs have a strong emphasis in creating nurturing environments, fulfilling our mission to deposit seeds of balanced mental health, happiness and hope into the hearts and minds of Youth and Families. We accomplish this by providing tools, as well as instilling principles and values that will empower them to become productive members of society and fulfill their purpose and destiny. We strongly believe that youth belong at home with their families and that youth are most effectively served in their own communities. Our expert staff takes pride in providing high-risk adolescents with educational support, structured supervision, and guidance needed to empower youth to make positive changes in their lives.
